I cannot reply to email without allowing permission to email addr.

After a new install, I get a popup message every time I try to reply to a
message. It asks me to allow a program to access my email addresses for "x"
number of minutes. This is so frustrating and unnecessary, but I cannot find
how to stop it from happening. It never happened on my old computer, and I've
tried unchecking all boxes in Outlook (XP) and Internet Explorer that suggest
a security permission. All advice is appreciated.

Thanks Diane. I removed Adobe Acrobat Reader version 7, including all 3
updates and their update manager and still have the problem. Any other ideas?

It's probably Adobe Acrobat.

Not Acrobat Reader, but the full Acrobat product. The usual culprit is
PDFMaker. The "Outlook Security" tool MAPILabs provides, as Christian
mentions, will tell you with certainty.

Folks: Christian's advice was best. I installed the Outlook Advanced Security
Manager and attempted to reply to a message. Turns out it's the WINZIP
OUTLOOK ADD-ON that is causing the error message! Pass this along to all
others who may experience the same problem. Thanks so much for this advice.
ou guys are better than any paid tech support I've ever seen! You're great!
Thanks again.

Diane: It was the WinZip Outlook add-on that was the culprit!! I'd forgotten
about installing it. Christian's advice about the Outlook Security Manager
software from MAPI was what led me to the solution. Please pass along to
others with this same difficulty. You're great - thanks so much for your
input!!

Do you have the newest build of that add-on?
