i cannot see the picture content of an email

I have received an email with pictures within the email but i cannot see them?

This is not a Word question, but something to do with the mail software that
you are using. How are you reading the email? It would need to be in HTML
format to see pictures in the message. If you are using Outlook Express,
press Alt+Shift+h to view the message in HTML format.
