I wish to use outlook 2003 to send and receive all my emails. I have managed
to receive but I cannot send. I have been incontact with my ISP and they
have sent the following reply:

If you are trying to send emails using other ISP you will only be able to
receive mails from and not send them as the Internet Service Providers (ISPs)
do not allow their SMTP server to send mails belonging to other domains.

If you wish to access Tiscali mails using a different internet connection
other than Tiscali, you need to use Tiscali POP server address
(pop.tiscali.co.uk) as the POP server authenticates your email account, and
you need to use the SMTP server address of the ISP you are connecting with,
as it relays to the ISP through which you are connected to internet.

Please contact the customer services of the respective domain for the SMTP
server information.

This makes no sence to me, can you please help.

Are you connecting via a tiscali account but using an email account from
another provider ?

you need to ensure that both your connecting account and email account are
from the same supplier.

Thanks for answering Kevin. I'm really not to good at this, but I will try
and explain best I can. I normally send and receive all my mail through
Tiscali, however since loading and using Outlook 2003, it makes sense to me
to send and receive all mail through it. I receive my mail no problem,
however I cannot send mail unless I go back to my Tiscali mail page. I have
allocated both my POP and SMTP Servers to Tiscali, but they are saying that
if I am sending emails using anoth ISP then I should get the SMTP from them,
as far as I'm concerned I am only using Tiscali. The reply sent by Tiscali
might make more sense to you, because it confuses the hell out of me. Any
further help would be most appreciated.
