I can't change font size in my notes window

Using powerpoint 2002, typing text into the notes window, the program does
not allow me to change font size, and the font and font size windows are
grayed out. What should I do to regain control over the font size?

Click on the blue end of the Standard toolbar, choose to add/delete buttons.
In the list you will find a button which looks like "A/A" with two different
A for "Show formatting". Add this button to your toolbar. With this you can
toggle between the Standard system font and your individual font (and font
size) to be displayed in the Notes window. (Note: I am using PPT 2003, never
noticed this option in 2002, but I hope you can find it there, though.)

Kind regards,
Ute

Click "View > Notes" to see full notes and for editing.
You cannot see, nor make, custom formatting in
the "Normal View" window. However, for text size
consistency, View Notes Master will allow you to preset
the size.

Sandy, can I ask what URL you're posting from? I'm trying to figure out
which web interface to the newsgroup is failing to append the "RE" in the
subject line on replies, and I see that your replies don't usually have
those.
