I can't open Word

I have Office 97. I have a problem in that when I try to open a Word
document or a new Word document I can't - I get a message saying that I am
dangerously low in resources (which I am not). Other office applications
open fine.

Any suggestions?

Give us a few more clues. Did this start recently? Has O-97 been
running okay for some time? What has changed in the environment? Upgrade to
Windows? Installed any new software lately? Scanned for viruses with
up-to-date virus definitions? Something has changed unless you've been
struggling with this for eons. Reply to this newsgroup.
