I can't reinstall Office XP

My Word XP Pro begins to fail - open and then close.

I've tried reinstall The Office XP, but when it goes in 30%, give me
the error: "Error 2349 - MAPI.DLL" and then i can't install anymore.

What's happen and what can i do? Thanks!
