I can't send or receive email

I have a new computer with Windows XP & Microsoft Office
for Small Business. I have never tried to use my email
account until today. For security reasons, I first
installed Norton Internet security. I then configured my
email account. Everything seems to be working in the
programs except for the fact that I can't send or receive
email. Do you have any solutions?

First disable Norton completely, and try a send/receive. Then get back to
us.
