I feel so stupid

I must have changed something within Outlook 2002 but I don't know what.
After writing an email I click 'send' and the email goes to the Outbox but
does not get sent. It is only sent once I do a further manual
send-and-receive. It used to go immediately.

What have I done?

Did you uncheck "Send immediately when connected" in Tools > Options > Mail
Setup...?

Brilliant. That's what I needed to know. Thanks Russ.
