And what suggestions and link might that be?

You dont mention what suggestions you have tried, or what web link you refer
to.
No one here is a mindreader, or has access to a crystall ball

It is on Windows Vista Home Premium, Version 6, Service Pack 1
Microsoft Office Pro 2007
When I try to shift delete, it tells me that "Some items cannot be deleted.
They were either delete or moved, or access was denied"

When I right click on the message itself to go to message options, it says
"Outlook has already begun transmitting this message"

Like I stated before, I have tried shutting the internet off, working
offline, putting into another folder as suggested on the how to page that has
been recommended to many other users. NOTHING has worked.

Just check that site out, and that is the one I have tried looking at and
doing all of the suggestions and nothing is working, it has been stuck in my
email since the 15 of Dec. getting very frustrated. Thanks again for your
suggestion.

No need to shout, allthough I appreciate your frustrations;

Since you have tried the suggestions on this site & the one posted by Mary
Have you tried a new Profile with new data file?
If not, with outlook closed, use the Mail Applet in the control Panel
(clasic View), or data management if you have such a desktop shortcut.
Create a new Profile, dont Copy, set Prompt for Profile, add a new data
file, add your mail accounts (you will need your ISP settings, name password
etc) Test the accounts, if OK
Open Outlook under this Profile, in Outlook, File>Open>Data
File.......browse to and select your 'old' data file.
In the folder tree view of outllook, navigate to this 2nd set of Personal
Folders, expand the folder set, delete what you need, drag & drop any data
you want into the new empty set of the default Personal Folders (the default
set will be at the 'top' of the tree view

I really am not shouting, I appreciate your help, I just want you to know
that I have tried all so far with out any success. I just tried your new
suggestion and nothing. It would not let me move, delete, open or anything.
It just kept telling me that it was in the process of sending it. I turned
my internet access off and checked "work offline" in hopes that would take
care of it, while I was doing what you asked and I still received same thing,
in process of sending.

DL

You did create the new Profile with a new data file, and no other data file
attached, prior to starting outlook?

If you check Task Manager after closing Outlook and it shows an instance of
outlook.exe still running, kill it and then try opening Outlook in offline
mode.

See if you can delete it then.

Hi. I have tried to delete an email in my outbox with no success. It says it is sending and this has been going on each time I shut down and reboot my computer. I have Windows XP running.

I have tried right clicking on it when I have the outbox selected to no avail.I have looked at "mail" in the control panel but can't see anything there that will help me. I have unplugged the modem and tried to delete the email when it comes up that it can't send because of errors, but nothing happens. My screen simply freezes and I have to control, alt, delete and close outlook express.

Hopefully you can help. Thanks.
