i have a new computer with no software on it can you help

i have a computer that i received from my job and now that i no longer work
there, they erased the computer of everything and i do not know what i am
supposed to do to make my computer work again. i have microsoft windows NT
workstation software and i still dont know why it's not working. can you
help me please?
