I have downloaded powerpoint templates to my computer but can't locate them

Where did you store them? In PowerPoint 2002 and 2003 you can go to Format >
Slide Design and then click on the "Browse" button at the bottom of the Slide
Design task pane and locate the template you want.

In the future, you can store the templates in the location where PowerPoint
looks for templates. See the tutorial at
