Hello Celia,

If the task is one day duration or less and must only occur on
Saturdays, create a calendar (Tools > Change Working Time, New) in
which the only working day is Saturday. Assign the calendar to the
task through the Advanced tab of the Task Information dialog box. If
you need to assign resources and the resource calendar have Saturday
as a nonworking day, select the option "Scheduling ignores resource
calendars" when you assign the task calendar.

If you want the task to only *begin* on Saturdays but the task may
span several days, create a predecessor task with a one minute
duration. Apply a calendar to the predecessor task that only allows
working time after regular working hours on Friday night (after 5:00
pm for example). You'll also want to add a task calendar to the
Saturday task which allows Saturday as a working day.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi,

Between the task and its predecessor(s) create another task wit a short
duration (1 hr, 1 min, any)
Create a Base Calendar (Tools, change working time, New) that has working
time only during the night Fri to Sat (as long as your extra task is)
Assign this calendar to your extra task as task calendar.
There you go.
