I receive this message when I exit MS Word

The message reads: Word cannot save changes to the global template because it
was opened with read-only access. Do you want to save the changes in a
template with a different name? Then it prompts you to select (Yes, No or
Cancel). I click (No).


Why is this happening? I checked the Saving options and I don't see anything
un-usual. I am sure there is a simply explanation for this, but I am asking
anyone for insight.
