I don't recall that any version of Outlook ever modified the Subject header
based on some file that you attached to an e-mail. What would it use when
you attached a dozen files?

Perhaps you're thinking of Outlook EXPRESS, a complete different and
unrelated e-mail client, and when you were slicing up a file across multiple
e-mails or newsgroup posts. Or you were using the yEnc proxy with OE
(because that poorly designed encoding scheme requires the filename be in
the Subject header).

Outlook did used to create the subject to be the file name when emailing from the document program but I guess updated versions do not do this anymore by default.

Did anyone find a way to do this when sending an email from the document program??
