I want to display a task information field in a resource view...

.... but don't want to have to remember to run any macros every now and then.
Is there any way to create a formula that updates automatically in the
respective resource view whenever the original field in the Gantt chart has
been modified?
Thanks so much in advance,
best regards,
Gabi

Gabi,
Nope, sorry. Except for data that is shared between the various views
(e.g. task name, duration, cost, etc.) unique data type information
(e.g. spare fields) can only be shared by either manually copying or via
a simple macro.

Hi Gabi,

No, I'am afraid.
The fact that you mention "the original field" seems to point to a
misunderstanding.
The custom fields in task, assignment and resource are completely different
fields, they can each contain a different value. There is no dependency like
"original" between them.
