I am trying to create a database that tracks the personnel overhead manning
budget in my department. I have to track how many personnel are budgeted for
each area compared to how many are actually in the area. I also have to keep
track of when any of these are out on medical or military leave, planning to
retire, retired or just quit. I also want to make it show when we have
openings for new positions and when these positions have been filled. These
have to be counted into the overhead budget and actuals as well. The budget
amount and the actual heads data will be imported from an excel spreadsheet
each month. I would like to know if anyone has any good ideas to how I can
do this and what is the best way to do it?
