ie+ office problem

Hi

I have w2k with ie 6.0 and office 2000.
When i work some hour on my computer (ie word ,excel etc) and then close
all
applications
and then try open any office apps like word excel i can't
I find how to resolve it.
When i end process iexplore.exe in task manager all apps which i try run,
now are open.
Any idea how i can repair it?
