You have pretty much sussed what I want and so it appears I may have t
have ago in VBA, any suggestions where as to go to get some pointers

copy of your workbook direct - do NOT post it to the Newsgroup. As it says,
my e-mail address is:

(e-mail address removed) but replace the 'mailinator.com' with tiscali.co.uk
