Image Background

Hi -

I've got an image with a white background. I'd like to set this background
to transparent so the page background shows instead.

Appreciate any suggestion.

You would have to modify the image background with a graphics
editing program such as PhotoShop.

Hi Bill,

When you've inserted the graphic into a Word document see if using View=>Toolbars to open the Picture toolbar lights the
'transparency' tool. If so, drag it over the area of the background you want to 'disappear'. Note that the tool will remove
anything with that color in the picture, not just the 'background'.

Yes - Thanks. One of our graphics guys used the 'erase' feature in Photoshop
to remove the background from the image.

Wow - That worked well, I had to play around with this feature for a few
minutes but, yes that works too.

Thanks
