Does anyone know where to obtain a fiter for JPEG2000,
abbreviated as .jp2 image files

If installation is non-standard, please advise

Fred,

I'm pretty sure powerpoint does not support the lossless JPEG2000 format. Only the regular lossy jpg format

You might want to take the .jp2 file into an paint program, and save it as a png
file. AFAIK PowerPoint does not yet support this format.

software will convert jp2 to jpeg .
