Image swaps triggered by mouseover of hotspots-Possible?

Is there a way to create a hotspot over part of an image, then on mouseover,
have an image swap occur? My task is to create a USA map that when a user
mouses over a particular state, that a unique image swaps in another cell,
displaying info about that state. Or, am I going about this all wrong? I
currently have a gif map of the US, and can do an independent image swap
triggered when mousing over the entire US image, but I need to divide it up
into individual states to display individual swaps. I've got rectangular and
polygonal hotspots over each state on the image.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can lend guidance.

Yes, image swapping triggered from an image I've got working, and thank you,
but what I'm asking for I think may be a little different...or at least I
don't see how yet to do it in FP2003 behaviors. The test page I have is at
http://64.176.118.150/HAB_INC/clientmap_copy(1).htm
Mousing over the map on the left causes the image to swap on the right.
What I want to do, is swap state-specific images on the right as a user
mouses over the corresponding state on the left. I have hotspot coordinates
defined over each state, but don't see the ability to use a hotspot to cause
an image swap, only an image to do so. Is it possible or do I have to cut
the USA into individual images? And if I do, how do I do that (how do I keep
the states together)?

I don't want to have the user mouse click a state to go to another frame
page (which was my first thought & you'll see area href source pointing to
various pages). It would be much more appealing to have an instant swap.

Thanks for your help!

You're going to have another problem with this. In order to get instant
swapping, you are going to have to pre-load 50 images with the page, and
this will slow down the loading time to several minutes at the least. The
visitor may think that there is something wrong with the site and go
somewhere else. If you look around the web, you will not find many sites
that offer such extensive swapping on any one page.
