Images copied and then pasted into Word 07 do not fully display

When a copied Net image is pasted into Word 07, the "box" surrounding the pic
displays but only the bottom 8th of the picture is visible - the rest not.
When trying to enlarge it, you can "see" the image as you try to manipulate
it, but when released, the image disappears and again only the bottom 8th is
visible.

What is causing this? I never had the problem with Word 03. I have to first
paste it into Publisher 07, copy it, and THEN it will paste into Word.

Suggestions, explanations, solutions?

Most likely, the paragraph that you're pasting into has its line spacing set to
an "Exactly" measure. In the paragraph formatting dialog, make sure it's set to
"Single" or "At Least", which allows the spacing to expand to accommodate inline
graphics or large fonts.
