I am using IMAP email in office. However, after I delete some email in my
mailbox in Outlook, the email is still there, but have a strikethrough on
those deleted items. How can I remove them from my Outlook (I mean disappear
them). Thanks!

B.regards,
Wilson

I have another question which is related to IMAP.
The question is why the .pst file does not go to 0kb after I purged deleted
item? Thanks!

Because it would be inefficient for Outlook to release the space back to the
file system when it may need it again very soon. Try compacting after
purging. RIght-click the PST (in Outlook), choose Properties, click
Advanced, then Compact Now.

You can place he Purge Deleted Items button on a toolbar. that makes it one
click.
