Import map randomly missing data

I'm importing data from MSAccess using in import map generated through
VBA in Access. The process I employ has been in daily use for years.

Suddenly I find that, after performing an import, random text and date
fields in Project do not contain the data that is present in the
source table in Access and as defined in the import map. The name
field is populated correctly in all records, but date, text, and flag
fields are randomly missing data.

I don't know how to troubleshoot this - any suggestions would be
appreciated.
