Import project from server to desktop

A project was created using MS Project Pro 2002 on a
workstation, and published to Project Server 2002.
The workstation was destroyed along with the original
project file. The project remains on the Project Server.

Is there any way to recover, or import the project from
Project Server to a *.mpp file on a new workstation?

Sure. Open the project after logging in to your server,
select File=>Save As. Then choose the Save as File...
button on the Save to Project Server dialog. This saves
to an mpp file.
