Importing an existing site from the internet

I have gone through the steps via the import wizard and get
nothing when I attempt to import a site. I have even tried
to import sites I have created using Front Page and I get
nothing. Any tricks to making this work?

The import function only imports what is seen by a browser, so shared
borders, include files, navigation structure, themes, asp pages, databases,
etc. are not imported.

The only suggestion is to contact the original author or the host to see if
they can make the files available to you.

Thank you for the inforamtion.
I am more than a newbie but certainly quite less than
experienced and am trying to learn what capabilities Front
Page has and does not have. I want to be able to use it to
the fullest before I jump to some other developer software.

Thank you!
