importing contacts from Outlook on windows to Entourage 2004

Why is there no way to import a .pst file from Outlook running under
Windows into Entourage?

I want to move my contacts over and I have to first save them as
an .xls file, then convert to a .csv file, then reformat the ZIP code
columns to become general text, then import.

I did not know about the ZIP code "bug/feature" and now I have
imported 2000 contacts into Entourage, which are junk, caused by the
ZIP code. How do I get rid of them and yet save the good ones that
were there before?

Select all contacts and delete. Import again.
