Importing Word Docs Into Publisher

V

I did read the other answer to this topic, but wanted to confirm as it
seems like I have to go through a lot for something that was supposed
to be relatively simple. What I'm trying to do is:

I have a newsletter with static content. I want to insert variable data
that is in Access into the newsletter. The variable data is in a
report in Access. I want to insert this Access data into my Publisher
newsletter. I really thought I'd be able to just import or similar.
The Access report is anywhere from 4-40 pages, depending on client.
From what I can tell here, my best option is to cut and paste???
Really?? If I insert using insert object, it only does 1 page. When I
create a new document, I don't easily see how I can then move my other
newsletter pages to that document.

As an example, I have newsletter content that talks about stock market
on 1st 2 pages and last 2 pages. I want to insert a client's stock
portfolio performance in the middle. This info is what's in Access. So
how do I best do that outside of cut and paste, which would be
unfortunate since there are many portfolios and we will do this
monthly.

Thanks
Darrell

Use files from other Office programs in your Access forms and reports

If you have a forty page report, why do you need to include this in a
newsletter? Access does a pretty good job creating reports. Wouldn't it be just
as effective simply to create the report as a standalone.

If the Access report is text, select all, copy, create a text box in Publisher,
paste, Publisher will automatically create text boxes and pages.

Merge? You cannot merge the report (a simple copy paste) but you can merge the
data.

You might think about Microsoft Project

or look into the Access Projects.
