importing

Bill Winter

Here is my problem I created a page with shared boarders and posted it to my
site, I another guy ftp the page down to his local dirve and made some
changes, he then ftp the page back up and seems to work fine, when I publish
back to my machine the work that he did is gone and the page on the web
server is blank also except for the shareded boarder. And when he emails me
the change it looks fine but when posted his work goes blank here as well.
Any help as to why it is doing this would be great.

The import function only imports what is seen by a browser, so shared
borders, include files, navigation structure, themes, asp pages, databases,
etc. are not imported.

Also, FTPing to a site with the FP server extensions will corrupt them, and
they will have to be repaired or re-installed.

Make sure all the patches are installed. Then Publish. Not FTP
