In a power point presentation, one slide does not transition?

Sadie

I created a presentation that has everything I want, except, one of the
slides just stays there past the 8 seconds that it is supposed to transition.
I have it set for auto, after 8 seconds. I deleted one slide, could it be
that one was connected here, and this one is connected to that? I can not
find how to change this, in the newer version of Power Point! Can anyone
help?

So i assume that the slides advance automatically?
It is probably due to the custom animation or the sound.
First, do you have any sound/ sound effect inserted in that slide? If yes,
check this out:
"Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it)"
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00047.htm

If not, go to Slide Show > Custom Animation. Check the slide that have
problem advancing, see if you have any animation that are "On click"(if yes,
change to after previous) or having the speed adjusted to very slow(Adjust to
a faster speed).
Also check the slide after the current one.
Post back if the problem still persist.
