In MS Project, how can I change the duration field display from "days" to "d"?

e.g. I want the Gantt Chart Duration column to display "3 d" instead of "3
days"

I am using -
MS Office Project Professional 2003
MS Windows XP Professional SP 2

Select tools-options-then the edit tab. The edit will display a drop down
box next to the days category. The "d" option is located here.
