I am creating something in power point and want a person to only be able to
click on a box once, therfore I would like to remove it or change the text
inside it once they click on it.

What version of PowerPoint are you using? In 2002 and 2003, you can
assign the box an exit animation. This animation can be set to trigger
based on a click of itself. Alternatively, you could have another box
that has an entrance animation that is triggered to come in on a click of
the first box and covers up the first box.

If you are using an older version of PowerPoint, I think you will have to
resort to VBA code.
