In presenter view changing slides laptop changes projector doesn't

Hi,
I have powerpoint 2003. I was having a problem with the dual monitor have
doen everything I was suppose to and my notes would not show on my laptop
without my audience seeing them. I searched for a solution and read to try
quickpower show. I downloaded it and my notes show on the laptop but not
for the audience the way I want it but when I click on the thumbnail to
cahnge slides the laptop changes but the projector doesn't. I don't want to
buy the quick power show if I can corect the notes not showing to the
audience or if I can't get the quick power show to work properly. Can anyone
help me??

I sent you any e-mail but I wasn't sure if I sent it to the right address
so I thought I would post it hoping you would get it at one place or the
other.

Thanks for replying to my dillema with powerpoint. YOur susggestions to
format the power show worked. It worked on the slide sorter view. I had
tried the other one the other night but it didn't work. The problem I am
having now is some of my slides have the delay where you press the scroll and
one part of the slide appears then you hit it again and another part of the
slide appears. Well that doesn't happen. it just goes to the next slide.
Any suggestions??

Also, Is there any way I can get the same results without buying the
powershow. It irratatesme that you spend all this money on office to get the
powerpoint and stuff then you have to spend another $100.00 to get powerpoint
to work the way you want it. Thanks for your help. Have a great day

I am trying to do exactly what you describe here. I was wondering if you
ended up getting it to work right, and was it worth the $100?

Hi Sarah,

I never purchased the software. I figured my problem out. I had to
re-format each slide. It took a while because I had about 200 slides. the I
did it was highlight your slide go into view on the tool bar and click on
notes then click on format then click on note layout then chak off reapply
master and hit okay. YOu have to do that with each slide. Hope this works.
It worked for me. I have been able to sho my presentation since just fine.
