in Project how can I delete a subproject from a master project?

I have SP2 and have tried to delete a task by selecting the insertion point of
the subproject in the master. Then in the Project/Task Information/Advanced
tab and uncheck the "link to project" box. Hit "ok". Finally with the
subproject insertion point still selected, go to Edit/Delete Task (or hit the
Delete key). and this did not work. Do you have any other suggestions??

Hi Jeanne,

IMHO there is no SP2 for any version fof Project.
If you are in 2003 Standard, applying the SP1 for Project solves this
nuisance.
