In Publisher 2007, why is my print preview in grayscale?

Are you using a color printer? Are you using a commercial setting?
In print preview there is an icon you can toggle for color or black & white
printing, is it active?

Do you have an HP printer? I also ran into that and have reported the bug to
Microsoft.

I am using a color printer. This printer won't allow a black and white
setting. On the small preview pane on the print screen, it is in color. On
the big print preview screen it is gray scale.

Yes, it is an HP. It is odd because on the small preview on the print screen,
it is color. On the big preview screen, it is grayscale.

Depends on the HP printer. Mine shows color in print preview. Have you checked
out the HP site for an updated driver or maybe a fix?

I know. It happened to me too. It's a bug and I've notified Microsoft
already. That's all we can do for now. It will print in color and if you
*really* need to see the preview in color, change the printer driver to
something else, look at it, and then back to print it.

I am using Publisher 2007. Printer HP.2570.
Toggling the small coloured icon using this printer
shows the Print View in Grey Scale and Colour.
