Inbox always full

Inbox is always full. I have deleted from sent & deleted
items. On the Exchange server it says that I have over
1500 items in my email.

You have the property - "Leave a copy of message on server" on.

Go to tools-accounts-select mail account-property-advanced, and uncheck the
"leave.... " checkbox.

On theother hand, you can select to delete after n days from server. This is
useful if you are accessing your emails from more than one machine.

Lorna is using exchange server, not a pop3 account. Exchange always stores
mail on the server...

Lorna - are you getting messages from the admin that the mailbox is
overquota? If so, do you have journaling enabled? Are you using a view that
hides some items? Did you use advanced find to locate large messages?

Which version of Outlook and Exchange are you using?
