Inbox: It indicates 14 messages, doesn't show messages

For a couple of days my Inbox indicates I have messages, when in fact I
don't. Each day it gets larger and now up to 14. I did notice that I have a
new folder under Inbox for Spam. I had over 200 messages in there that I
sorted out. However, I cannot figure out what to do about the 14 message
indicated. Is there anything else I can do?

You didn't mention what version you were using. I'm not sure what version
this started in but on the left side of your screen in the folder view, you
should see the heading Mail and then underneath it is broken down as Favorite
Folders and All Mail Folders. Hopefully, if you have the Favorite Folders
listed you should see a folder called Unread Mail. Does it show 14 emails
there? If so, you can click on that folder and it will show only those
emails and the location. Hope that helps!

Thank you, thank you! This worked! I saw that category but it didn't have
any number next to it to indicate there were any unread messages, so I didn't
