Inbox repair tool

I have just started my computer and went to use Microsoft
Outlook 2000 it has come back with an error message saying
errors have been detected in
c\windows\applicationdata\microsoftoutlook\outlook.pst
the instruction is to close all folders and use the Inbox
repair tool.

What is happenening and how do I fix it?

Do what did your pc want to do
