Include page will not change on all pages - still

I made changes, locally, to an include page. It is my left border on all
pages. It will not change all the pages when saved. I have not published
yet. Don't want to publish changes until I can see the change and know it
all works.

I have read all the help files there is to read. They say that it is
suppose to change, automatically, all pages that the include page is on.
Well, maybe it supose to, but it does not do it. What can I do?
Thanks so much!

Did you have a web / site open or just the include page? You must have a web / site open.

The website is open. I know there must be something wrong. Last time I
changed it, about 2 weeks ago, was on remote site live and it did not change
on all pages.

So... I went back local and made my changes, it did change on every page
local, that time. I published it and it was fine.

Now I am making changes local and it will not change on all pages.

Here's what I did. I opened the website in FP2003. Opened the included
page. Made all the changes. Saved it. It should have automatically changed
on all pages, but has changed on none.

Thanks, Thomas

I have spent so many hours searching every place I can think of for support
on this thing.

Just a thought, as I was searching through my website.
Would it make a difference that I saved this included page in the borders
folder, or doesn't it matter where I saved it??

I am just trying to thing of every possible reason that this won't work.

Woud it have anything to do with the frame. As I was searching around, I
found a place where it asked for what frame. I wondered if that was suppose
to be changed. There is no frame now.

I use include pages a lot and the page has to be saved in the web and in each
subweb if that is applicable. Mine are all in the root web with the affected
pages and it works this way. Try moving the include page to the root folder
with your index page. Edit the include page and save it. The changes should
show up immediately when you open the index page assuming that the include
page is part of that page.

You need to make an include folder go INSERT>WEB COMPONENT> on the left
hand pane click>INCLUDED CONTENT>in the right pane click>FINISH>Include
property box appears and it's best to browse to the page you have
prepared beforehand as the footer, header. Note: The include folder
then has a _ underscore in front of it so the folder cannot be read by
the browser.
