INCLUDETEXT for tables Word 2003

B

/b

When using INCLUDETEXT to insert a table (applying either a bookmark or the
entire file), Word sticks a carriage return before the table. This does not
happen when including regular text [i.e., not-tables]. Is there a way to fix
this, or is it just another MS unwanted "feature."

In the target document, select the extra paragraph mark and format it as
1 pt font size, with line spacing set to "Exactly" 1 pt.

A side-effect is that it will be difficult to read (part of) the INCLUDETEXT
field code, as it will assume the changed formatting (press Alt+F9 to see
that).
