Incompatibility with Acrobat

Project crashed after I created a pdf file and requested I send a report. My
schedule file has become corrupted. After sending the report a note came back
from Microsoft about an incompatibility with the latest version of Acrobat
and suggested I remove it. I've removed the application and things seem ok
now, however I cannot find any documentation anywhere about this. Any
suggestions where else to look?
