% Incomplete Tasks

Q

Qaspec

I know I can add a field in gantt chart view that shows percent completed. Is
there a way that I can have a column return percent incomplete instead?

Thanks

Hi Qaspec,

Insert one of the spare text fields (for example Text1) in your table.
(Insert > Column and choose Text1 from the field list.)
The click your secondary mouse button over the Text1 column heading and
choose Customize Fields... from the shortcut menu.

In the Custom attributes section, click the Formula... button.
In the Formula dialog box enter the following formula:
100-[% Complete] & "%"

Click OK to close the Formula dialog box and return to the Customize Fields
dialog box.

You may want to click the Rename... button and rename the Text1 field to %
incomplete as that will be more helpful than just Text1 as a column heading.

In the Calculation for task and group summary rows, click the option button
for Use Formula to use the same formula for summary tasks.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Thanks, I'm very new to project. How would I enter that formula?
