incorrect characters printing envelope

We just upgraded to Word 2007 in our office. I go to Create Envelope, type
in the address for the letter to go to. I choose the correct settings. When
I print the envelope, instead of printing the letters I type, what comes off
the printer are numbers, parenthesis, question marks, etc. Anyone know how
to correct this?

A secretary has also been unable to print an envelope directly from a
document. She gets incorrect characters also.

Any suggestions?

We discovered you have to go into options and change "headings" to a specific
font. I guess the default envelope font is "headings" instead of Arial or
Times New Roman or any other font. Once this is changed, it will print the
correct characters.

The default envelope setting is "Headings", not a font. Go into font for
return address and shipping address and change Headings to a specific font.
This should correct the problem.
