I have installed MS Project Server 2002 on a Windows 2000
Advanced server, along with MS SQL Server 2000, and
SharePt Services (all on same server).
When I try to log into PWA, I receive the following error:
You have entered an incorrect user name/password
combination. (5002)
I also receive an error when attempting to connect from a
MSProject Pro 2002 client
I've tried:
1) logging in with windows authenticated accounts that
have admin privileges on the server and have the
MSProjectServer role.
2) logging in via SQL Server authentication.
3) Changing the password on the SQL Server account to
match what is in the registry.
3) creating new SQL Server accounts and assigning the
MSProjectServer role, etc.
4) Running a reinstall via Add/Remove Programs
Any ideas?
I can go in through ODBC and run the test to connect and
the test succeeds.
