Increase the thickness of a font?

Can someone tell me how to increase the thickness of fonts. I inserted the
words with a text box and then clicked on BOLD, but I want the lines in the
font to be even thicker. When I used word art, the edges were jagged and
this info is for a website. Thanks for your help.

If you copy/paste special the WordArt as a .png, it shouldn't be jagged. You can do
the same with a regular textbox. Clipart might be a solution. Lots of alphabets you
can ungroup and re-color on the Office site.

WordArt should be less jagged prior to copying and pasting as a PNG than it
is after doing so.

Of course leaving the WordArt as is and converting the publication to a web page will
automatically change the WordArt to a bitmap. I didn't think it looked too jagged
doing it that way. He maybe using a different program to create the web page and
simply wanted to create the art in Publisher.

The main problem here is that Publisher doesn't antialias anything, ever.

Another option might be to find a different font that is thicker to start
with. Surely there must be other fonts to use - all you need to do is a
little searching.
