Indenting Question (again...)

I think MSP must use a certain value for indentiing tasks to make then a
child of the parent. I'm creating a master that will have about 50 separate
mpp files that will be the details of the program. I will pull them into
master project to have ALL the data in one schedule to see the fully
integrated plan. Each plans details will start about 3 to 6 indents because
of the position of that plan on the WBS.

1 - FL Program
1.2 – Acquire
1.2.2 – Dynamic Systems
1.2.2.1 – Transmission
1.2.2.1.1 – Main Gearbox (Plans at this level – mpp file)
1.2.2.1.2 – Tail Gearbox (Plans at this level – mpp file)

So on each individual plan (NOT the combined plan) the fact that the details
will be indented so far, there is much wasted white space or column width
because of the indenting. Is there a way to change the value of the amount
of the indenting from say 0.33†to 0.15

Thanks in advance.........TC

No,
But under Tools, Options, View tab you can deselect the Indent names option
to eliminate all white space. Now you just need to interpret what level each
task is!

.....then insert a column for the Outline Level and/or Outline Number.
