Indenting tasks/Duration issue

Hello, whenever I indent a group of tasks, the duration for the heading is
calculated incorrectly. For example, I indented two tasks that have a total
duration of 2 days, but the duration on the head task (the task that that the
two tasks are grouped under) show as 14 days. I don't have any precendents
set and I'm not sure what's causing this to happen.

Hi Tynman,

I guess the time period between your first and your second task is two weeks
(check the dates). Try the column "work" to show the real work.

Hi Felix, thanks for the reponse. The time period between the tasks is only
1 day. I've pasted the contents below. The last two are indented into the
first one. Kinda funny, if I paste them into a new project the times show up
correctly. Project is very frusturating...

Go to the menu and look at the Calculation opage under Tools, Options .
Make sure recalculation is set to automatic.
