index.asp to index.aspx

I changed the name of my index page from index.asp to index.aspx. When I did
this the page becomes no longer available in a browser via the .com url. Is
there some way that I can change the .asp to aspx in order to begin editing
on the .NET framework?

Ask your host to add the aspx extension to the list of default filenames.
