Index page Question

A few years ago someone created the web page for our company and placed a
frame menu to the left with a scroll bar. I have been mainting the site but I
don't have much experience and recently I tried to eliminate the frame but
couldn't figure it out. In the meantime I did something that now when the
site comes up in search engines (not always) only the frame is there. I
noticed the name is now index.html. Also when I click on links within my web
page the address doesn't come up in the url box but the page does. Can I type
the address to the web site in here for someone to look at it or is that not
permitted?

The default page on the site is named
http://www.beachtimeproducts.com/lframe.htm
and the page it displays in the frame is
http://www.beachtimeproducts.com/index.html
( that's the lower case L and frame.htm lframe.htm )
Which is backwards.

However, it appears that the original author set up the server to display
lframe.htm as the default page, which is the reason it opens when you click
http://www.beachtimeproducts.com/

Kind of a unique way of doing things, and also ensures that you'd have
problems if you tried to edit your self.

How exactly do you want to change it. I ask because what you want to do
depends on how someone replies.

As for the urls of the pages displayed in the frame not showing in the
browser address bar, that's normal for pages displayed in a frame page.

I apologize for the delayed response.

The problem is, when a potential customer searches on Google, Yahoo or where
ever and type in beach cart for example....sometimes
www.beachtimesproducts.com comes up but a lot of the time just the frame
comes up when they click on the link that's offered in the search. Before I
messed with it that was not the case, so I did something wrong and I don't
know what or how to fix it.
