InfoPath 2007 and Access 2007

I cannot seem to connect InfoPath 2007 to any database created using Access
2007 even if it is saved in the 2002 - 2003 format. I can still connect to
databases created using Access 2000/2003 using InfoPath 2007 but not
databases created with Access 2007.

Anyone have any ideas. The error message I get is that I must connect to a
Microsoft SQL Server Database yet the dialog box shown asks me to select a
Microsoft Access database or Microsoft SQL server database.

Are you using the RTM version of InfoPath 2007? Or a beta version? It works
in the RTM.

If you created a form and checked "Enable browser-compatible features only",
you will not be able to create a data connection to an Access database, only
to a SQL Server database. Browser-compatible forms are not allowed to have
data connections to Access databases.

If you created a form and cleared the "Enable browser-compatible features
only" checkbox, you will be able to create a data connection to both an
Access and SQL Server database.

I am having a similar problem...your answer states "if you created a form..."
i have simply opened Infopath 2007, selected databased as the type to based
my form on, and thats where i get the error . I havent yet selected the
"enable browser compatablity".

any ideas?

Can you go to the About box in InfoPath and tell me what version is listed
there? And can you please list step-by-step what actions you're taking to
arrive at the error? I need to be able to reproduce it myself, otherwise I
cannot report it as a bug to Microsoft. Up until now, I have not encountered
the error you are reporting, so the more information you can give me, the
better.
